Assembly 2012: Health

Morehead, Kentucky, will host the Council's annual assembly October 25-26, 2012.

The Morehead Ministerial Association warmly extended their welcome, and Morehead United Methodist Church kindly offered their church building for our use.

The theme is health -- expanding access and addressing disparities in health care, strengthening health ministries, considering ethical dilemmas faced by churches in relation to health policies, and more.

Dr. L. Gregory JonesOur distinguished keynote speaker on the 26th is Dr. Greg Jones of Duke Divinity School. His explorations of the health topic delve deeply into forgiveness, embodiment, multidisciplinary approaches, and a special concern for clergy health.
