Bishop Jarrett presides over the Ohio, New Jersey, Allegheny, Guyana, Trinidad-Tobago and Barbados Annual Conferences of the A.M.E. Zion Church. St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church Covington is part of the Ohio Annual Conference. In addition to being filled with God’s Spirit, Bishop Jarrett is a former educator. He earned his B.S. and M. Ed. Degrees from Wayne State University, Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, and a Doctor of Ministry from Chicago Theological Seminary. In 1996, he was elected the 90th Bishop in succession since 1796 of the A.M.E. Zion Church. Bishop Jarrett is one of the 12 Presiding Bishops of the global A.M.E. Zion Church.
